The aim is to support small businesses. In light of the times, supporting the businesses at the heart of our communities is vital. With so many children and college-age students engaged in virtual classrooms and fighting the unknown, providing an update in spotlighting this business felt more relevant than ever on this blog.
What Is Project OTY?
I’ve been following the progress of the above company’s growth since late October of 2019.
I wrote an unbiased review of my experience going through the Project OTY workbook and program and discussing the project points with the owner, Jeff Otis.
Below I share the full details of my account of Project OTY:
College Grad Confessions: What Happens When You Solve the Puzzle
Project OTY is a program designed to individually and consistently teach us how to navigate and manage the noise, anxiety and fast pace of information in everyday life.

A 2020 Update
Over the last 6 months there has been remarkable feedback and experiences with Project OTY in Beaverton and Corvallis. The team behind Project OTY couldn’t be happier with the response and the difference Project OTY is making. This has led to 8 additional high schools representing 4 different school districts that have now committed to sharing the curriculum with students in the Fall of 2020.

You can check out the internal Project OTY blog that shares the current company thoughts and emergent sense of hope in this latest post:
Project OTY – Spring Update 2020
An Opportunity
With schools closed and teams working from home, Project OTY is going to start a series of 33-minute online sessions throughout the month of April for high-school students, young adults, businesses, teams and leaders.

What Is It?
Starting April 1st, individuals are guided through the program experience, provided with life insights to utilize on a daily basis, and given an exercise to complete before the next session. These are not intense exercises, but they prompt you to pause to think critically about the future you may be currently building for yourself, your team, or your organization or business.
The overview for the sessions is provided here: https://projectoty.com/curriculum-release-april-2020
You can follow along for the FREE April curriculum on the Project OTY Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/projectoty/
